Christmas in January

Yes, I know it's January and we just got done celebrating Christmas!  But I'm in the process of "de-Christmasing" my home and I just had to share a fun little way to make your tree even more fabulous...FEATHERS!  Here is an easy and cheap way to take your tree over the top.

Here's what you need:

• Fabric/Craft Glue (I buy Fabri-Flex from Hobby Lobby $7.99)

• Christmas bulbs

• Feathers - to increase the amount of feathers I have in stock I buy feather boas from Hobby Lobby in different colors to pluck apart and use $6.99

Step 1:  Take the glue and your Christmas bulb and make strips of glue on the bulb.  It's easier to section the bulb off on each side, so you don't get the glue all over your fingers.

Step 2:  Take feathers and glue onto bulb, you can add as many as you like, just make sure you cover the bulb.  Do not cover the hook where you would hang the bulb.

Here's the finished product!  Your bulbs are ready to be hung on your tree!

Scarves anyone?

 

January can be as cold as it wants because you will be stylin' in the all NEW Foxy & Fabulous scarves.  Scarves add the extra punch to make sure you are fabulous while at work, while on the go, or even doing your weekly grocery shopping. 

These styles are the Loop Infinity Scarf (in pink) and the Tie Loop Scarf (in teal and purple).  I am so excited to get even more creative with these designs and add several new colors and patterns to match almost any foxy outfit.  I'll be adding more of these beauties very soon, in the mean time stay foxy and fabulous lovelies!

Be Mine

I still have quite a few orders to fill, but I just had to take some time out from those and start working on new designs for Valentine's Day.  It was like those felt hearts were whispering to me, "please, please we want to be paired with ribbon and bling!"  So here are a few of my designs for Valentine's Day.  There will be more to come, I can promise you that!

Well, Hello there!

Welcome to Foxy & Fabulous!  I will be adding my designs here and sharing some fun too!  There are so many designs I am just dying to share from custom made military hats to children's headbands, and even more!  Please check back often and always stay foxy and fabulous! 

A little story on how Foxy & Fabulous came about.  In August 2011, I experienced a very difficult time in my life (my 2nd miscarriage in a year) and was devastated.  I was determined that I needed a hobby or something to take my mind off my current losses.  One night I gathered all the bling, feathers, and fabric I had in my house and put together my very first custom made military hat.  I haven't stopped designing since.  I will never forget that very first night of creating, I stayed up until 4AM making designs.  When I finally went to bed, I could not turn my brain off, it was swirling with so many designs. And that's how Foxy & Fabulous was born.  I have been so blessed with support from my loving family and friends and none of this would be possible without them.  I love you all so much and am so thankful to call you the blessings of my life!
